The contents of the training course assures rapid progress with a range of activities.
Material as well as clothing made by the students during the course form a set which remains the property of the student at the end of the training.
Use of different raw material supplied by the academy.
Enhancement of the clothes by the addition of details and accessories
Organization of production with the subcontractors
Design and production of commercial clothes
Knowledge, characteristics. Calculation of the material and placement procedures.
Different cutting techniques and achievement of specific assembly
Work organization and assembly, finishing, enhancement. Research of flaws, alteration techniques and corrections
Cutting demonstrations on dummies
Balance of the clothes by the respect of certain criteria
The drop, proportions, the volume
Sales Techniques
Order forecasting, calendar and respecting the fixed datelines
Organization of the production (personnel, sub contracting, delivery …)
Negotiations with the clientele
Techniques and presentation, reception, communication. Commentaries
Visit of production workshop, exhibitions according to the season
Comparisons of different realizations of luxury ready-to-wear fashion, analysis
Validation
A certificate from the academy will be awarded on completion of the training after consideration by professionals
Organization of training
Duration: 2 months at 6 hours per day.
5 days a week, for a total of 240 hours of teaching.
Course limited to 12 to 15 students maximum.
Tariff : 5000,00 Euros including work materials, supplies
